Went on a whirlwind 8-day journey through Switzerland learning the Swiss Rail system & staying at beautiful 5-star properties. Huge thank you to our wonderful hotel partners for the warm welcome & enjoyable stays. It was short but sweet. Last time I was in Switzerland was in the early 90's. Had to see if my group photo was still hanging at Balmers Hostel. It is in their "museum". Ha! Time flies but memories last forever.

Wow. Mallorca. From our sea view room at @jumeirahmallorca, a stunning clifftop retreat with panoramic views to a private sunset sail & Jeep ride through family olive estate. Enjoyed farm to table olive oils, cheeses, breads & gin. The charming towns of Soller & Palma did not disappoint. Wish we had more time there.

So much fun visiting our son & friends studying in Madrid. Beautiful city, rich in history with the most delicious food & drinks! Such a great experience for these kids and a great excuse for us to visit🍷🇪🇸

Australia Trip Recap. 2 week whirlwind vacation visiting Dylan & his buddies studying abroad. Lucky boys! Cant wait to go back.

After a detour due to flooding in Airlie Beach, we hopped on a puddle jumper to Cairns. Weather still rainy but we finally got to dive the Great Barrier Reef. Bucket List ✔️.

I heard summers in Australia can be rainy and thats no joke! We were stuck on Hamilton Island during a mini cyclone. Our Great Barrier Reef dives were cancelled. No boats were running but we made the most of it. Made friends with cockatoos who liked to visit our room & steal food. Visited the most beautiful ⛳️ course located on a private island. Had a few moments of sun. Despite the weather, the Whitsundays are a gorgeous place to visit.

Spent the day outside of Sydney in the Southern Highlands. Enjoyed wine canoeing on the Kangaroo River, a photo op at Fitzroy Falls and delicious lunch at the Osborn House Hotel where wild kangaroos & joeys come to graze overlooking the rolling hills. 🦘Highly recommend a stay here!

Landed in Sydney on Australia Day. Climbed the bridge, enjoyed local brews & views. Ended with an amazing fireworks celebration at Sydney Harbour. A perfect way to start our Australian vacation!

If you find yourself in Basel, Switzerland I highly recommend staying @grandhotellestroisrois a gorgeous hotel with tons of history, huge rooms on the canal, walking distance to restaurants & shops including a popup winter wonderland with fondue inside a gondola! Our hearts go out to the families affected by the recent tragedy in Magdeburg. Having just visited many Christmas markets in Germany, this sad news hits too close to home. Life is precious & I feel blessed to have just experienced only love & happiness during our holiday travels.

Just spent the most magical 5 days at Carmel Valley Ranch. This all-suite, 500 acre property is an oasis to explore. We visited farm animals, discovered a “Bees Life”, had a garden picnic with donkeys (they brought the champagne), tried candle making, hilltop yoga, enjoyed delicious meals from their award winning culinary team, went wine tasting and relaxed at the pool & spa. CVR is the perfect getaway for any occasion. There’s something for everyone here. Cant wait to go back!
