ABOUT

DENA CHESLER GRIMM

I strongly believe that every social event should include an element of community giving.  I recently spent 7 years managing community events at Facebook HQ where I learned the following.

Events bring people closer together.

There are many great charities in need of our support.

BACKGROUND & BIO

For over 20 years, I've organized festivals, concerts, community events, charity fundraisers, golf tournaments and corporate meetings in the Bay Area.

During my time at Facebook/Meta I created Facebook Festivals which brought 10k community members together five times per year to support local nonprofits, musicians, artisans and small businesses.  During Covid, when in-person events were prohibited, I restructured our festival budget into food access programs for low-income families. For 2 years our team & vendor partners packed & donated over 100,000 boxes of organic produce & grocery essentials to over 40 nonprofit organizations.  We also purchased thousands of meals from local restaurants & donated to churches, hospitals, schools & charities. For 6 years,  I developed & managed the "Facebook" Community Mobile Market which offers quality Farmers Market products at subsidized prices to low income neighborhoods in Menlo Park & East Palo Alto.

I've always loved planning events but over the years learned how rewarding it is to give back to those in need.  I believe every event should include an element of social good.  My goal in starting this company is to subtly weave nonprofit donations into every planned event so guests can enjoy fun, memorable experiences without the pressure to donate onsite.

Living in the Bay Area my entire life, I've nurtured very strong relationships with business owners, musicians, chefs, nonprofits & community leaders.  I'm excited to apply my experience & passion in a positive & impactful way.  I hope you can support my mission & passion to support local by hiring C4C for your next event.
